Legal Expertise You Can Rely On

Dylan J. Wallace in Alpena - owner and attorney

Dylan  is a product of northern Michigan, and he loves that fact.  Dylan  graduated from Alpena High School, with honors, in 2003.  From there,  Dylan ventured to southeastern Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan  University, home of the fighting emus (or eagles, depends on who you  ask).  While at EMU, Dylan double-majored in Business Management and  Business Marketing, which is probably what led him to starting his own  law practice.  Dylan graduated from EMU in 2007, summa cum laude and a  3.94 GPA.

Dylan  then found himself  at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School with an academic  scholarship.  At Cooley, Dylan concentrated his studies on "Elderlaw"   and completed his externship with the Sixty Plus Elderlaw Clinic.  Dylan  achieved the highest overall scores in his Taxation and Secured  Transactions courses, which is commonly referred to as "booking the  course."  He graduated from Cooley Law School in 2010, magna cum laude  and in the top 3% of his graduating class.  Dylan went on to take the  Michigan State Bar Examination in February 2010, learning that he passed  the same in May 2010.

In  June 2010, Dylan and his family returned to Alpena, Michigan and Dylan  began practicing law with the law firm of Isackson, Wallace &  Pfeifer, P.C. ("IWP").  At IWP, Dylan experienced a multitude of legal  areas, but primarily focused on estate planning, estate/trust  administration, and Medicaid planning.  In November 2014, Dylan founded  The Wallace Firm, P.C. in Alpena, Michigan.

Dylan  spends the majority of his free time with his wife and children -  playing ninja turtles and reading stories.  In addition, Dylan enjoys  local breweries, all sports, hunting, and eating.

Chelsea m. Wallace in Alpena - owner and attorney

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.

Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.

Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.

Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.

Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are. Chelsea  was born and raised in Alpena, Michigan.  She graduated from Alpena  High School in 2006 and then headed north to Lake Superior State University,  making her the third generation of Wallaces to attend the Sault Ste.  Marie campus.  Her time at LSSU helped embed a love for the Upper  Peninsula and its natural beauty.  And, in the summer of 2009, she was  the first to graduate from LSSU with a degree in Business Administration  - Legal Management, a program that had been approved by the American  Bar Association.

After  graduating with her undergraduate degree, she went on to attend Thomas  M. Cooley Law School, at both the Lansing and Grand Rapids campus, where  she concentrated her studies on business transactions.  While at  Cooley, Chelsea had an externship with its Public Sector Law Project  where she was able to gain knowledge regarding the Freedom of  Information Act and drafting contracts.  She graduated Cum Laude from  Cooley in the Spring of 2012 then headed back north to Alpena post-Bar  exam.  While waiting for results from the exam, she was hired by First  Federal of Northern Michigan (FFNM) to review post-close loans to ensure  all guidelines were met.  She was admitted into the Michigan State Bar  in November of 2012 and then offered a multi-faceted role at FFNM, which  allowed her to frequently come into contact with contract review,  negotiations with third-party vendors, risk analysis, policy and  procedure drafting, and legal issues.

Though  she enjoyed her time with FFNM, when the opportunity arose to join  fellow attorney and brother, Dylan J. Wallace, in his venture to open  The Wallace Firm, P.C., she was excited to accept.

In  her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending quality time with her family  (especially her nephews), dog Jane, and close friends... usually with a  camera in-hand or close by.
