Dylan is a product of northern Michigan, and he loves that fact. Dylan graduated from Alpena High School, with honors, in 2003. From there, Dylan ventured to southeastern Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan University, home of the fighting emus (or eagles, depends on who you ask). While at EMU, Dylan double-majored in Business Management and Business Marketing, which is probably what led him to starting his own law practice. Dylan graduated from EMU in 2007, summa cum laude and with a 3.94 GPA.
Dylan then found himself at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School with an academic scholarship. At Cooley, Dylan concentrated his studies on "Elderlaw" and completed his externship with the Sixty Plus Elderlaw Clinic. Dylan achieved the highest overall scores in his Taxation and Secured Transactions courses, which is commonly referred to as "booking the course." He graduated from Cooley Law School in 2010, magna cum laude and in the top 3% of his graduating class. Dylan went on to take the Michigan State Bar Examination in February 2010, learning that he passed the same in May 2010.
In June 2010, Dylan and his family returned to Alpena, Michigan and Dylan began practicing law with the law firm of Isackson, Wallace & Pfeifer, P.C. ("IWP"). At IWP, Dylan experienced a multitude of legal areas, but primarily focused on estate planning, estate/trust administration, and Medicaid planning. In November 2014, Dylan founded The Wallace Firm, P.C. in Alpena, Michigan.
Dylan spends the majority of his free time with his wife and children - playing ninja turtles and reading stories. In addition, Dylan enjoys local breweries, all sports, hunting, and eating.
